They say that time moves differently at the beach. That it doesn't move from hour to hour, but rather from mood to moment. As I stroll the boardwalk and walk through the sands of San Diego's Pacific Beach, I'm met with a flurry of humanity. Loud clothing (when there is clothing), bright colors, the quiet and pensive blending in amongst the more highly spirited. It's all there. The beach is a melting pot, alive and impossible to predict other than the tide.
